Watch a night play out.

Six lineages, nine centuries, and a war fought after dark. Here is where you can watch it played — and, plainly, what is not ready yet.

The Vigil Discord

Where matches actually get watched right now — streams, clipped turns, and people arguing about whether the Pit was worth it. It is the fastest way to see real games before you play one.

Your own Chronicle

Every match you play is recorded to your Chronicle — day and night, win and loss — and follows your account rather than one browser. Sign in and it is already there.

Learn it by watching first

First Vigil is a guided opening match against the AI: it teaches the turn, the Pit and the Blood Seal while you play rather than before you play. If you have never touched a card game, this is the intended way in — and it costs nothing to try.

Beyond that, practice matches against the AI can be started at any time. The AI plays the real engine with the real rules, so what you learn against it transfers directly.

Not ready yet

Built, not shipped

Spectating a live match. The match relay supports it in full; the game has no button that asks for it yet. Until that is wired, there is no way to drop into someone else's game.

Saving and sharing a replay. The replay viewer works and will play a match back with full transport controls — but nothing writes the file it reads. Until a match produces one, there is nothing to open.

Both are listed here rather than left to be discovered, because a feature that half exists is worse than one that does not.

Making video of your own

Streaming, recording and monetising NoDawn footage is welcome, and there are a few things worth knowing about what you may use. Those are on the creators page.
